Bengaluru: Blast in Front of Rajarajeshwari Nagar Congress MLA Munirathna’s Home Kills One Person, Probe Underway

Bengaluru, May 19: One person died in an explosion outside the residence of Rajarajeshwari Nagar Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Munirathna in Karnataka. The Indian National Congress leader's residence is located near 11th B Cross at Vyalikaval in Bengaluru. The blast took place at the car parking spot, in front of his house.

The victim, identified as Venkatesh, was working as domestic help in Munirathna's house. Police officials are present at the spot and are yet to ascertain the cause of the blast. Probe into the matter is underway. News agency ANI also tweeted the image of the incident spot, where, cops can be seen investigating the matter.

Munirathna, who is also a movie producer is currently busy with the release of his upcoming movie Kurukshetra starring Darshan, Nikhil, Ravichandran among others. It was announced on May 18 in an event that Kurukshetra movie would be released on August 9.
