Mumbai, October 5: The body of 17-year-old Naman Dutt, the boy who went missing 12 days ago, was found by the Navi Mumbai Police on Friday. Naman's body was found in the Uran Creek. Naman is the son BARC scientist Bhaskar Dutt. The police are investigating the cause of Naman's death and looking at all angles including suicide or any foul play.

Naman had gone missing from Vashi on September 23. He was last seen boarding a train bound for CSTM from Vashi. His parents had earlier said that he was undergoing treatment for depression after a sudden death in the family.

"Police are cooperating with us but we haven't come across any evidence of his whereabouts. He is on treatment for depression and was recovering," Naman's mother had earlier said.

The police, while carrying out searches for Naman, had said that the boy’s mobile phone had been switched off since the time he went missing.

Naman Dutt was a Class XII student of Pace Science Junior College and was seen wearing a blue pair of jeans and a polo T-Shirt when he walked out of his house. He was also carrying a rucksack.
