Mumbai, November 13: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday made a scathing attack on BJP- Shiv Sena alliance led Maharashtra government. The MNS party chief tweeted a caricature in reference to the killing of tigress Avni or T1 in Maharashtra and the upcoming state elections in 2019. In the latest cartoon, MNS supremo targeted Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and Shivsena president Uddhav Thackeray. In the cartoon, the first part, dated 2018, shows Fadnavis shooting tigress Avni through the gun of 'arrogance'. Uddhav is seen standing behind while Mungantiwar is seen pointing out at T1. In the second part of the cartoon which is dated 2019, shows 'Maharashtra voters' eating Uddhav and Fadnavis in the upcoming Assembly elections in 2019, while the gun of arrogance is lying on the ground and Mungantiwar is seen hiding by climbing on the tree. This comes after the killing of tigress Avni has created an outrage and raised a debate over India's tiger conservation efforts. The killing of T1 has received a lot of criticism from animal activists, and politicians. Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Maneka Gandhi targeted the Maharashtra government for killing the feline. The tigress was shot dead in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district on November 3.
