Patna, November 3: The body of 33-year-old Australian citizen was found hanging from a tree in Bodh Gaya town in Gaya district, Bihar. The deceased was identified as Heath Allan, a resident of Westmead a suburb of Sydney in Australia. Superintendent of police Anil Kumar said that the incident came to light when few local residents noticed the body hanging while passing through the Rajpur region in Bodh Gaya. A suicide note was recovered from the spot, reported PTI. A phone number and a request to inform his sister about his death were mentioned in the note. Police are yet to find the cause of the extreme step. The body was sent to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital for the post-mortem. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has reportedly been called to investigate the incident further, reported ANI.

Earlier on September, a British tourist was found dead in his rood in Varanasi. He had earlier complained about the stomach ache on September 23 night but when guest house staff told him to get admit he refused to go anywhere. On the next morning, he was found dead in his room while the doors were lying open. The body was sent to postmortem to know the actual cause of death.
