The country is mourning the loss former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He passed away at the age of 93 at the AIIMS Hospital in Delhi last evening. While a lot of political leaders offered condolences and paid their respect, a picture, apparently from the AIIMS hospital ward started circulating on social media. The picture claimed that the doctors and nurses from the hospital are paying tribute to the great leader. But it is not a real picture. The photo is fake and is actually from China, where Chinese doctors were paying tribute to an organ donor. People believed the picture to be of former PM and passed it on without confirming the truth. The former PM was admitted to the hospital for 9 weeks before he took his last breath at 5.05 pm on August 16. The mortal remains were kept at the BJP headquarters for everyone to pay their last respects. The final funeral rites will be conducted today by 4.00 pm at Smriti Sthal.
