New Delhi, January 12: Delhi Chief Minister's Office has received an anonymous mail on Wednesday threatening to kidnap Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's daughter, Harshita. "We will kidnap your daughter. Do what you can to protect her," the email from an unknown person read, reported NDTV. The mail was sent to Delhi Chief Minister's Office on January 9, 2019. Taking action on the concern, Delhi Police has deployed a Protective Service Officer (PSO) for CM's daughter and the matter has been handed over to Cyber cell. In November 2018, a man threw chilli power at Arvind Kejriwal at the highly secured Delhi Secretariat. The attacker, Anil Sharma Hindustani, was waiting outside the CM's office and attacked him when Kejriwal stepped out. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) called it a breach of security and said that it was done by the opposition.
In October 2016, a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), a student body linked to the Bharatiya Janata Party, threw ink at Kejriwal in Rajasthan's Bikaner.
