Mumbai, Sep 18: A video is going viral on social media showing people showering money on Congress leader and former Maharashtra minister Arif Naseem Khan. The incident took place on Monday at a Ganpati event where Arif Naseem Khan was showered with money. Khan represents Chandivali Assembly constituency.

An event was organised at Himalya Mitr Mandal in Chandivali where Khan was invisted as guest. At the event, some people reportedly showered money on Khan. The Congress leader, however, refused to apologise and said it was a tradition of Bhanushali Samaj. Watch the video of people showering cash on Khan below:

"I went to a programme of Bhanushali Samaj. I am unaware of their traditions. There is no question of seeking apology," Khan told ABP News. He further said the organisers should be held answerable.
