Lucknow, September 29: The Uttar Pradesh government has accepted all the demands of deceased Apple employee Vivek Tiwari’s family. Authorities have sanctioned the demands in writing. While speaking to news agency ANI, Lucknow District Magistrate (DM) Kaushalraj Sharma confirmed that the CBI inquiry would be initiated if wanted by the victim’s family. Tiwari’s wife, Kalpana has been given a job along with the compensation of Rs 25 lakh. The DM also said that the enquiry would be completed in 30 days.

Earlier, Kalpana demanded justice from the UP government. She had also written to Yogi Adityanath demanding a CBI inquiry into the incident. In addition to this, she also demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore and a job in the police department. While speaking to media on the incident, CM Yogi Adityanath clarified that it was not an encounter and also assured of conducting an investigation into the case. The 38-year-old victim was survived by his wife and two daughters. The autopsy revealed on Saturday that the bullet had hit Tiwari in the chin and got stuck between the neck and the head which led to his death.

However, police constable Prashant Chaudhary, who shot at Tiwari is now playing a victim. Chaudhary expressed disappointment at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s decision of not allowing him to register his case. The constable's wife also complained that it had been 12 hours after the incident, no FIR was being registered. Chaudhary while interacting with media claimed that the bullet was shot by mistake. He added that Tiwari hit him with his car and drove it over him three times with the intention to kill him. Earlier, he claimed that she shot at Tiwari in self-defence.
