New Delhi, July 18: The Annisia Batra suicide case has thrown up more revelations. According to recent reports, the air hostess had messaged her friend an hour before she committed suicide and her last message was sent only a few minutes before she allegedly plunged to her death. Annisia sent her last message  to her friend on WhatsApp around 4:12 pm on July 16, the day she committed suicide. In the messaged she said that she was going to kill herself. Annisia also accused her husband of forcing her to commit suicide. In the message she wrote, “I am going to kill myself today because Mayank has driven me to it. He finally let me out but I can’t repair what he has done.”

In the earlier messages, she also asked her friend to call police as her husband Mayank had locked her in a room. Annisia had also requested her friend to come to her house. She also wrote that her husband was sitting outside guarding her room. In her final message, she revealed that she was going to commit suicide.

Annisia allegedly jumped off from the terrace of her house in South Delhi’s Panchsheel Park on July 16 roughly around 4:30 pm. Delhi police arrested her husband Mayank Singhvi on Monday evening. The family of deceased air hostess has alleged that she was harassed for dowry and was regularly beaten by her in-laws. The family also claimed that it was a murder and not a suicide. Singhvi told police that they had regular fights as there were “compatibility issues”.
