Kurnool, September 17:  As heavy rains lashed Andhra Pradesh last night, Mahanandiswara Temple in Kurnool district’s Mahanadi area has been flooded. According to reports, the Kundu in the district is overflowing with floodwater. News agency ANI has also shared the video. According to a report published in The New Indian Express, The two temple ponds got filled up, and the rainwater filled the entire temple premises. Streams and rivulets including Paleru and Rallavaagu were overflowing as 10 out of the 17 mandals in Nandyala division of the district received heavy rainfall last night. According to the report, the division received 22 cm of rainfall on Monday. The overflowing water from Kundu river also destroyed railway tracks at Gajulapalli affecting the train services between Hubli-Vijayawada section.
