Amaravati, August 28: On Sunday at Chennai airport's domestic terminal, a 47-year-old man who had just come off a flight from Mumbai passed away after collapsing in the aerobridge. Solomon Martin Luther, an electrical engineer from South Africa, was travelling to his hometown of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh.

He took a journey from South Africa to Mumbai, then a further aircraft to Chennai. For the previous year, he had been employed by a private company.

When the crew came, they attempted to do CPR but got no reaction. He was taken to the airport's emergency room, where physicians declared him dead. He is thought to have passed away from heart problems. Luther didn't appear to be in any discomfort during the flight, according to inquiries made to the airline crew. Additionally, he made no claims of discomfort. His family has been notified by the police. In order to get to Chittoor, he had booked a cab. He had come to celebrate the holidays with his family. Police are investigating if he has a history of cardiac problems.
