Amaravati, September 13: While trying to imitate a cartoon character, an eight-year-old child tragically lost his life. The child wrapped his neck with a scarf that was fastened to an electrical wire, in the incident, which took place in Visakhapatnam on Monday afternoon.

Pyda Durga Dimple Surya, a third-grade student, was the sole child of Kasturinagar residents Srinivasa Rao and Lakshmi, both electricians. Locals said that the child had previously tried a similar expedition but had been saved by his mother when she had found him in trouble. Locals said that Surya frequently jumped in front of motorbikes on the street. Kanpur Shocker: Eight-Year-Old Attempts 'Krrish' Movie Stunt and Jumps Off First-Floor of School Building, Admitted to Hospital (Watch Video).

The event occurred on Monday at 3 pm while it was raining and Lakshmi, the mother, was preoccupied with her job. To prevent the youngster from running out onto the street, Lakshmi had secured the front door of the house, West Zone Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Annepu Narasimha Murthy told TOI.

Here's How the Incident Unfolded

The youngster attached a yellow shawl to a plastic pipe that concealed an electrical wire on the wall as he was playing on the terrace's steps near the wall. He took the shawl and wrapped his neck in it. He fell off the stairs and was later discovered hanging from the wall. When a lady saw the kid dangling, she called for help. When his mother arrived, she quickly cut the shawl with a knife and took him to the hospital, where the staff reported that he had been brought dead. The child enjoyed watching cartoons on TV and enjoyed playing a lot of video games, according to reports. Boy Jumps Over Gap Between Two Tall Buildings, Old Viral Video From China Will Send Chills Down Your Spine.

Locals said that the deceased used to play while wearing the shawl over his neck. According to the ACP, he had attempted the same trick at his grandfather's home in Vaddadi. According to the postmortem report, the ACP stated that another person's smothering or strangulation was not the cause of death. Since we believed the death to be suspicious, we sent a clues team to the scene. However, the boy's death was ruled an accident by medics," he stated.
