AMMK leader Thanga Tamilselvan Joins DMK, Praises MK Stalin for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Win and Bold Decisions
In a major setback for TTV Dinakaran, his close aide and Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) propaganda secretary Thanga Tamilselvan on Friday joined MK Stalin's Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Chennai. While joining the new party, Tamilselvan said that MK Stalin is a proved leader and is capable of taking bold decisions.
Chennai, June 28: In a major setback for TTV Dinakaran, his close aide and Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) propaganda secretary Thanga Tamilselvan on Friday joined MK Stalin's Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Chennai. "M K Stalin has provided able leadership to the party and only he can give good governance to the state, this has been proved with the kind of mandate which DMK got in recently concluded elections, therefore I've joined DMK," Tamilselvan said.

Tamilselvan said that after the demise of Jayalalithaa, AIADMK was under the control of multiple leaders and was not able to take any decision. “The party is controlled by the Bharatiya Janata Party and I would not like to join the party at the expense of my self-respect,” he said when asked about joining AIADMK.
