The official website of Amity University amity.edu has been restored after it was hacked on Wednesday with erroneous messages on the placement section. According to the versity officials, someone carried out the hack with malicious intent.

New Delhi, August 9: The official website of Amity University amity.edu has been restored after it was hacked on Wednesday with offensive messages on the placement section. Amid the ongoing admission season, Amity University's Noida campus webpage was hacked on August 7. The page was asking $5000 (over Rs 3 lakh) for students to get jobs at Xvideos, Pornhub.com, Porn.com along with other recruiting cells.

The website also carried a message criticising the placements. “No Placements. F**k off we wont give you any placements, you students are useless. What do you think? yahi hamara kaam hai? (sic.)," the message read.
