Amit Shah Discharged From AIIMS Delhi After Undergoing Treatment for Swine Flu
Anil Baluni, BJP Media head and Rajya Sabha member was quoted by ANI saying, "BJP President Amit Shah has been discharged from AIIMS Delhi where he was admitted for his treatment of swine flu".
New Delhi, January 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Sunday where he was undergoing treatment for swine flu. Anil Baluni, BJP media head and Rajya Sabha member was quoted by ANI saying, "BJP President Amit Shah has been discharged from AIIMS Delhi where he was admitted for his treatment of swine flu".
According to sources at AIIMS, Shah was admitted to the hospital on January 16 following complaints of chest congestion and breathing issues. The BJP president reached the hospital at around 9 pm and was admitted to the old private ward of the hospital. Shah informed people about his ailing health through micro-blogging site Twitter. "I have been diagnosed with swine flu for which the treatment is underway. With God's grace and good wishes from all of you, I will recover soon," Shah said on Twitter. The hospital in a statement said that a team of doctors are monitoring Shah’s condition under the supervision of AIIMS director Randeep Guleria. On Thursday, BJP had said that Shah is doing well and will be discharged in one or two days. “National President of BJP, Amit Shah ji, is doing well. He will be discharged in a day or two. Thanks, everyone for your good wishes!”PTI quoted BJP’s media head and Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni, as saying.
