Alwar, July 22: A man claiming to be an eyewitness in the Alwar lynching case has described what happened on Saturday. According to news agency ANI, Aslam, who was present at the lynching incident spot, has said that he and the deceased victim, were with their two cows when speeding bikes coming towards the cows led them to run in the fields aside the roads. He also added that six to seven people were present in the field who fired at them. Aslam said that he managed to run from the scene but later found out that his friend was killed in the attack.
"We both were going with our 2 cows, on seeing a speeding bike the cows ran into the fields where 6-7 people were present who fired at us, I ran away from the spot to save my life, later found that my friend was killed," said the eyewitness. Check his comment in the tweet below:

On Saturday, there was a report that a mob beat a man to death in Alwar's Ramgarh, suspecting him to be a cow smuggler. The victim was identified as Akbar Khan who along with another man was transporting cows on foot. It has now come to light that the man accompanying Akbar, was his friend Aslam, who according to him managed to save his life as he ran away from the scene of lynching.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje condemned the incident. "The incident of alleged lynching of a person transporting bovines in Alwar district is condemnable. Strictest possible action shall be taken against the perpetrators," Raje tweeted.
