Aligarh, September 26: In a shocking incident, a 7-year-old UKG student was allegedly stripped and given electric shocks by his teacher at a private school in Aligarh for forgetting his school bag. The student, identified as James returned home in tears and informed his family of the ordeal, leading them to file a complaint with the local police. The school administration has denied the allegations, claiming that no such incident took place and offering to show CCTV footage as proof. Despite the college’s denial, the police have launched an investigation into the matter, questioning staff and reviewing evidence.
According to a report from the Times of India, the incident unfolded on Monday, September 23, when James was dropped off at school by his grandfather as his mother was unwell. As per the report, the victim's family has alleged that after forgetting his bag, James was subjected to extreme measures by his teacher. They claim that the teacher stripped him, beat him, and even administered electric shocks as a form of punishment. The traumatic experience left James visibly shaken, prompting him to confide in his mother about the ordeal upon returning home. In response to the family's complaint, local police officials visited the school to initiate an inquiry into the allegations. Officers from the Lodha police station, led by in-charge Rajveer Singh Parmar, began questioning the school staff and administrators to determine the facts surrounding the disturbing allegations. The investigation aims to establish the facts surrounding the alleged incident of brutality and ascertain whether disciplinary actions are warranted against the teacher involved.
