Ajmer, August 1: In a tragic incident, three people were killed after their house collapsed in Nagphani area in Rajasthan's Ajmer district. According to reports, the collapse was triggered by heavy rainfall in the region. The incident occurred on Thursday. A woman was also rescued from the site. On being informed, a team of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) along with police officials reached the spot and started relief operations. Firstly, a woman was rescued alive from the debris. Meanwhile, many parts of Rajasthan recorded moderate to heavy rainfalls. Ajmer, Parbatsar and Pushkar received continuous rains for three hours in the morning leading to waterlogging in several places. According to reports, Mount Abu recorded the highest rainfall (176mm) in the past 24 hours.
