New Delhi, May 29: Air India's AI 162 Heathrow-Delhi flight has been grounded for the last two days due to a technical glitch. The flight was scheduled to depart for Delhi around 9:47 AM on May 27 but it suffered a technical glitch. The flight was running in full capacity and passengers are stuck in the United Kingdom's Heathrow. Air India Server Glitch: 155 Flights Delayed Till 8:30 PM Today, 18 flights Rescheduled.
According to reports, Air India engineering team from Heathrow airport in the UK examined and sought for equipment for aircraft. Earlier, this year in April, around 155 flights were delayed for an average of two hours due to the technical glitch in Air India’s server ‘Sita’. All the Air India flights globally did not fly and due to this, passengers could be seen stranded at the airports. Meanwhile, in 2018 also, a similar situation occurred with Air India's website, due to which several flights were cancelled and many were delayed.
