New Delhi, April 27: Hours after struggling through a technical glitch in their server 'Sita', Air India finally managed to restore its system on Saturday, confirmed CMD Ashwani Lohani. Earlier, all the Air India's flights - domestic and international - have been affected with the technical glitch occurring in their SITA server since 3.30 am on Saturday. All the Air India flights globally were not flying and due to this, passengers could be seen stranded at the airports.
With the delay in checking and boarding of flights at the domestic and international flights of India, passengers are showing their anger, while the senior authorities of the public sector airline have termed this as a technical glitch and assured the passenger of a speedy recovery. The officials have claimed that they have deployed their best team to solve the crisis. Air India's spokesperson said, "SITA server is down. Due to which flight operation is affected. Our technical teams are on work and soon system may be recovered. Inconvenience is deeply regretted."

This is not the first time that such an incident has taken place. Earlier in 2018 also, a similar situation occurred with Air India's website, due to which several flights were cancelled and many were delayed. That time too, Air India had called this a technical glitch.
