Mumbai, January 4: In a shocking incident that reportedly took place on board an Air India flight from New York to Delhi, a drunk man allegedly unzipped his pant and urinated on a female co-passenger. As per a report, the shocking incident took place on November 26 last year. The drunk man allegedly urinated on the woman passenger in the business class aisle during the US-Delhi flight.

Soon after the incident took place, the woman raised an alarm and alerted the cabin crew, however, instead of apprehending the accused, they let him go scot-free after the flight landed in Delhi, said the report by Times of India. The incident came to light after the woman wrote a letter to N Chandrasekaran, chairman, Tata Group and demanded an investigation. Mumbai Shocker: Drunk Man Rapes Wife, Inserts Plastic Object in Her Private Part in Mulund; Arrested for Unnatural Sex.

In her letter, the woman claimed that the cabin crew did not held the matter sensitively and also accused them of not being proactive. "I am...distressed that the airline made no attempt to ensure my safety or comfort during this incident,” the woman stated in her letter. The woman said that after urinating on her, the drunk man stayed there and went on to expose himself to her.

She further claimed that the accused moved after another co-passenger asked him to leave. Post this, the woman intimated the crew. "My clothes, shoes and bag were completely soaked in urine. The stewardess followed me to the seat, verified that it smelled of urine, and sprayed disinfectant on my bag and shoes...,” the letter claimed.

Following this, the woman cleaned herself. She said that the crew gave her pyjamas and disposable slippers to change into. The woman also said that she was allotted a narrow crew seat as she did not want to return to her soiled seat. Later, she was asked to return to her original seat. "Although the staff had put sheets on top, the area was still reeking of urine," she added. The woman said that there were several seats vacant in the first class, however, she was not given any. Manoj Joshi Slams Air India for Flight and Baggage Delay, Says 'Who Will Compensate?
