Mumbai, July 17: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has once again come in the limelight for his remark against the BJP, whom he called anti-Muslim. Owaisi has slammed the Modi government, pointing out that Muslims have not been recruited in the Indian Military. Moreover, he has dared the BJP to prove his statement wrong, by showing how many Muslim aspirants have been given a chance in the Indian forces.

As per news reports, Owaisi made the controversial statement while addressing a gathering on Monday. To prove his point, he cited some data about the percentage of Muslim individuals working in the Indian military force. "One of my brothers tells me that Muslims in CISF is 3.7 per cent. In CRPF, they are just 5.5 per cent, in Rapid Action Force, who in their fancy uniforms will be the first one to beats us, Muslims are just 6.9 per cent,” quoted Owaisi as saying in the news reports.

AIMIM statement has sparked the row once again over the anti-Muslim accusation against the BJP. Owasi also accused the saffron party of saying that it has not done anything for the Muslim community.
