Ahmedabad, December 19: A shocking incident that has come to the front after five months of the suicide case of a 19-year-old-man identified as Nikhil Parmar. With the help of text messages on his phone, police and his family members have found out that he was being harassed by his employer and his wife. Nikhil's employer forced him to 'love his wife' and also withheld his salary.
Nikhil's company dealt with supplying decorations for the wedding. Nikhil had informed his father that he didn't wish to continue with the job as his boss was harassing him and was not giving him his salary. His father asked him to leave his job, but then his employer called him and asked him to collect his cheque. In the month of July this year Nikhil also later told his father that his employer was taking him on a tour to Rajasthan. But the next day, he got to know that his son has committed suicide. From the text messages that were revealed, his family found that his employer had forced him to love his wife and then when his wife also fell in love with him. Nikhil's employer asked him to move away from her and this agitated the woman who physically abused her. He pleaded for mercy and asked him not to treat him like a slave. His family alleged that unable to treat the pressure and harassment, Nikhil committed suicide.
