Ahmedabad, November 11: In a shocking incident in Gujarat, a 35-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in Ahmedabad after he found that his wife was having sexual relations with her brother. The unfortunate incident occurred on November 7 in Ahmedabad's Dholka. The incident came to light after the deceased's father lodged a complaint with the police. As per the complaint, the deceased married a woman from Dholka in 2009, and the two separated legally in 2017.

In his complaint, the deceased's father, who had once stated that he did not have any relation with his son, said that in February, his son married another woman, reports TOI. The complaint also said that the woman whom his son married had previously been married and divorced by four men. The complainant also said that he received a call from a police officer from Dholka who informed him about his son's suicide attempt. When the complainant reached the hospital, he found that his son had ingested poison after a fight with his wife. However, the complainant's son passed away on November 7, after his condition deteriorated.

The FIR also stated that the complainant found a suicide note in the pocket of his deceased son's trousers. The suicide note revealed the reason why the complainant's son ended his life. In the suicide note, the deceased accused his wife of having a sexual relationship with her real brother. The deceased also claimed that his wife and her brother assaulted and threatened him after he raised objections over their alleged relationship. The complainant's son also said that he could not bear that his wife was engaging in a sexual relationship with her brother. The deceased also revealed that his wife's previous four husbands parted ways with her after learning about her relationship with her brother.

Acting on the complaint, the police have booked the deceased's wife, her brother and three other family members.
