Ahmedabad, August 12: Three people died and one was injured when a 25-year-old overhead water tank collapsed in Bopal area of Gujarat's Ahmedabad district. This incident could have turned tragic as there was a school near the spot. But luckily children were not present. Reacting to the episode, Ahmedabad collector said, "The water tank was 25 years old and in a dilapidated condition. Inquiry underway, action will be taken as per the report." Seven five brigade vehicles were engaged in rescue and relief work. According to reports, there was anger among the locals who said that the petition for removing the overhead tank was given to the administration but they didn't respond to it.
