According to a report in India Today, the woman approached the family counselling centre in Agra, stating that she couldn’t live with a man who failed to maintain basic cleanliness. During an inquiry by officials, the husband admitted to his infrequent bathing habits. He claimed that he typically bathed only once or twice a month, and once a week, he sprinkled gangajal (holy water from the River Ganga) on himself. However, he revealed that he had bathed six times during their 40-day marriage due to his wife’s insistence. Uttar Pradesh: Woman Seeks Divorce From Gym Trainer Husband After He Fails to Help Her Lose Weight in Agra.
