Agra, July 19: In a strange turn of events in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a drunk autorickshaw driver reportedly jumped into a drain upon hearing a police siren on Wednesday, July 17. The man was allegedly assaulting his wife, and the family members called the police to take action against him. The police took the help of a bulldozer to find the man, suspecting that he had drowned in the drain. However, it was later revealed by a local resident that the man had managed to escape by emerging from the drain at a different location.

In response, his mother called the police at 112. When these efforts proved unsuccessful, they deployed a bulldozer and started removing the silt from the drain. They continued the search for approximately 300 metres of the drain, but still did not find him.
