Agra, August 2: In a dramatic turn of events in Agra, a man named Roop was saved by a pack of stray dogs after being buried alive by his attackers. The incident unfolded when four men allegedly choked Roop and buried him in a pit, believing he was dead. Later that night, a group of stray dogs began to dig at the soil, ultimately uncovering Roop and pulling him out. Miraculously, Roop regained consciousness after being rescued. An FIR was filed against four men.
Roop's mother, Ramvati, who has filed a case regarding the incident, stated that four local men, Ankit, Gaurav, Karan, and Akash, visited their home on the evening of July 18. They took Roop to a farm outside the village, where they brutally assaulted him. They then placed a rope around his neck, choked him, and left him to die in a pit, as reported by Times of India. Ramvati added that a miracle occurred when a pack of stray dogs, drawn by the scent of blood, began digging at the soil. Although Roop was unconscious, the dogs' actions stirred him, causing him to regain consciousness. He was later taken to the hospital, where he is recovering. Ramvati also mentioned that on July 18, a local dispute arose between two groups, and Roop had objected to a man using "abusive language." After the attack, Kishore managed to walk to a nearby village, where locals recognised him and quickly took him to the hospital for treatment. According to Kishore's mother, the accused forcibly took her son from their home, subjected him to brutal assault and strangulation, and then buried him in a ditch on their farm. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Sikandra Police Station, Neeraj Sharma, confirmed speaking to India Today that an FIR has been filed against the four accused men, and the police are actively searching for them.
