Pathankot, October 2: The train services which were stalled between Punjab and Himachal Pradesh for around 47 days is set to be restored. Because of heavy rains, land sliding and abnormal weather the services were stalled between the two states. On Monday, after the successful trial on the route. The railway has decided to restore all the 14 trains. According to the officials, the relief work is going on ahead of Guler railway station. Earlier, on July 10, after the heavy rainfall six trains were canceled. On July 28 the rainfall continued with land sliding so more four trains were suspended. All the 14 trains on the route were canceled after the rainfall and landslides worsen in the state between 15th August and 25th August. Since then bus services have been increased in the Punjab-Himachal route.

Trains which are running from Pathankot to Baijnathpaprola are:

After the order of Ferozpur Railway Division, Train No 52471 Pathankot to Baijnathpaprola will leave at 2:15 am, Train No 52463 Pathankot to Baijnathpaprola will run from Pathankot to Himachal at morning 4:00 am, Pathankot-Baijnath Paprola- 52467 will leave at 13:20 pm, Pathankot-Baijnath Paprola (52469) at 3:50 pm, Pathankot-Baijnath Paprola (52465) will run at 7 in the morning and Pathankot-Joginder Nagar (52473) will reach Guler at 10 am.

The commencement of the trains will help local vendors and businessman to restore their loss just before the festive season.
