Srinagar, August 22: Indian Air Force's Air Force Common Admission Online Test (AFCAT) 2019 Exam which was scheduled for August 24 at Srinagar centre is postponed. Department of Information and Public Relations of Jammu and Kasmir said that the fresh exam date will be notified later. AFCAT 2019 Exam on 24 and 25 August is for Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical). Admit cards have been released for AFCAT exam on its official website afcat.cdac.in.

The exam is conducted by Indian Air Force (IAF) and consists of three phases- Written exam/EKT, AFSB interview and the final selection after the medical test. The written exam will be conducted for non-technical candidates. For technical candidates, both written and Engineering Knowledge Test will be conducted.

AFCAT Written and EKT Exam are conducted in English only. Each question holds three marks and one negative mark for every incorrect answer.
