Mumbai, September 3: RBL Bank has started the Aadhaar Enrolment and updation activity at selected RBL Bank branches across several cities. The bank has also released a list of branches that has been enabled for Aaadhaar Seva Kendra. The facility is made available in select branches of Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and several other cities in the country.

On August 31, we informed you how you can now get email alerts related to your the 12-digit unique identity number on your registered e-mail id. Users will be able to get the updates only if their e-mail id is registered with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). In case you do not have it linked, you may have to visit your nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre and update it to avail the benefits.

It must be noted that authorized cardholders can also change their name, address, gender (gender), date of birth, mobile number and email address online. For any other changes, you may have to visit the base UIDAI enrolment/update centre.

To find the nearest enrolment centre, follow the simple steps:

1. Visit the official UIDAI site https://uidai.gov.in/

2. Under the Aadhaar Online Services, go to Aadhaar Enrolment section and click on Locate Enrolment & Update Centres

3. A new page will open. The user has to fill in the required details like state, district, sub-district, pin code and a Verification Code.

4. The verification code will be sent to your registered phone number. If your number is not linked with Aadhaar, you will not be able to complete the verification process.

5. You will then get a list of enrollment centres close to you and avail the benefits.

The official website UIDAI allows users to update their details online. You can update your Aadhar card or make a correction to the information already provided with a few clicks. It is important to provide a valid phone number for registration in the website as you may receive OPT in the registered mobile number during the update process.
