In a good news for job aspirants, the Indian Coast Guard has issued notification for filling up posts of sailors. Candidates shortlisted for the post will get the Pay Scale of Rs 21,700. They will be getting level-3 perks as recommended by the 7th Pay Commission.

New Delhi, November 1: In a good news for job aspirants, the Indian Coast Guard has issued notification for filling up posts of Naviks. Candidates shortlisted for the post will get the Pay Scale of Rs 21,700. They will be getting level-3 perks as recommended by the 7th Pay Commission. The Indian Coast Guard issued the notification on October 30, and the last date of applying is November 8. Only the online applications will be accepted by the Indian Coast Guard. Any candidate who has cleared matriculation with 50 percent marks and is between 18 and 22 years can apply. Steps To Fill The Form:

  1. The candidates need to log on to the website  www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in and click opportunity button.
  2. Select the advertisement for Recruitment of Navik (DB) (10th Entry) 01/2020 Batch.
  3. Select the post applied for- Navik (Domestic Branch).
  4. Click on the 'I Agree' button and the 'Online Application' will be displayed.
  5. Proceed to fill up the application {All Star (*) marked entries are compulsory and to be filled}.
  6. Candidates have to upload the photograph and signature in .jpeg format (image quality 200 dpi). The size of the photograph and signature must be between 10 kb to 40 kb and 10 kb to 30 kb respectively.
  7. On completion of filling the application, check your filled details once again prior to clicking on the Submit button.

Candidates who are perusing higher education can submit self-attested photocopies of 10th class marks sheet and pass certificate. Candidates perusing higher education are also required to produce duly signed certificate by the head of Registrar/chancellor clearly indicating the list of original certificate held. Promotion prospects exist up to the rank of Pradhan Adhikari with pay scale Rs 47,600 (Pay level 8) with dearness allowance.
