National Testing Agency to Conduct Computer-based NEET, JEE, UGC NET And CMAT Exams on Multiple Dates: HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar
The NEET, JEE, UGC NET and CMAT exams are currently being organised by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
New Delhi, July 7: Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday announced that NEET, JEE, UGC NET and CMAT exams will be computer-based. These exams will now be held on multiple dates, Javadekar said. The NEET and JEE exams will be conducted twice a year, the minister added.
The NEET, JEE, UGC NET and CMAT exams are currently being organised by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). While the NEET and JEE exams will be conducted twice a year, the best score will be considered for admissions, Javadekar said.
"NEET will take place in February and May, JEE exams will be conducted in January and April respectively," the HRD minister said. Meanwhile, the registration process for the second phase of the NEET counselling has been started, while the last date is July 8.
Candidates can able to fill and lock choices on July 9 from 10 am to 5 pm. The result for the second round of seat allotment will be released on July 12, 2018. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination for students who seek admission for medical and dental graduate courses.
