New Delhi, July 22: In an unusual move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took to Twitter to reply people personally on their advice and well-wishes. PM Modi, who is known for being eloquent and tech-savvy, responded to five persons who tweeted using hashtag #PMInShahjahanpur yesterday. To a person who asked PM Modi to smile more often, he replied, "Point taken :)".

In one of his replies, PM Modi congratulted a man's daughter who wrote an essay on Swachh Bharat for her school magazine. "Happy to read this. Please congratulate her on my behalf. Amazing to see such high levels of awareness and passion among our youngsters for Swachhata," he responded to the Twitter user.

PM Modi expressed his condolence to a Twitter user who said that the prime minister's speech during the no-confidence motion reminded him the time when he used to watch Modi's speeches with his grandfather, who died on July 16. To another Twitter user who applauded PM Modi's speech in Lok Sabha, he replied, "Thank you for the kind words,".

Responding to a man who praised PM Modi for addressing farmers in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur a day after the marathon Lok Sabha session, he said, "The blessings of 125 crore Indians give me great strength. All my time is for the nation.".

The series of Twitter replies come two days after the government defeated the no-confidence motion with an overwhelming majority of 325 votes in favour of the government out of 451 votes.
