Mumbai, August 10: In a shocking incident of molestation, a Mumbai University student has in a written complaint stated that an unidentified man molested her in a washroom inside the Kalina campus, according to a Times of India report. A police complaint is still to be filed, but in the written complaint to the Women’s Development Cell (WDC), the victim has shared that before she could react and understand as to what was happening, the molester attacked, pushed her and ran from the spot.
According to reports, there are no CCTV cameras in the area where the crime allegedly took place. The attacker's face couldn't be seen, as the man grabbed her from behind, and when the girl resisted, he shoved her to the floor.
Earlier this year, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly molested by her Bookkeeping and Accounts teacher inside the library of a reputed college in Ghatkopar on the pretext of increasing her marks in the subject. In another similar incident, a Delhi University student was molested by a sweeper inside the college campus.
