Mumbai, Aug 11: The Mumbai traffic police have made a list of offenders who haven't paid fines for violating traffic rules despite being issued e-challans. Interestingly, cars used by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, MNS chief Raj Thackeray, Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray and comedian Kapil Sharma feature in the list of traffic rules violators.

Vehicle number MH 02 BY 2727 has been involved in four violations for speeding between January and July this year. The vehicle is registered in the name of Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz’s film production company. The owner is liable to pay Rs 4000. When asked about the non-payment of the fine, the actor's staff told Mumbai Mirror that they were not informed.

Similarly, the owner of vehicle number MH 02 CB 1234, used by Aditya Thackeray, hasn't paid Rs 6,000 for being involved in six instances of speeding beyond the specified limit between December 2016 and May 2018. Harshal Pradhan, an aide of Aaditya, said his driver might have violated the traffic rules.

Vehicle number MH 04 Fz 770, registered in the name of Kapil Sharma, has a fine of Rs 2,000 pending against it. A vehicle (MH 46 J 9), used by Raj Thackeray was fined Rs 1000 on February 28 last year for fancy number plate and Rs 200 for not halting in front of the zebra crossing. The owner is yet to pay the penalty.

Vehicles used by BMC Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, NCP leader Ajit Pawar, and state BJP spokesperson Ram Kadam have also been issued multiple e-challans and the fines are yet to be recovered, found the newspaper report.
