Mumbai, July 27: Three youths dragged out a teen from his class and stabbed him to death over a love triangle. The killing took place at a Bhandup college on Thursday. The victim, identified by Sushil, was warned by the three accused over his friendship with a girl because one of them liked her. Sushil, however, ignored their warning and kept his relationship.
A youth, whose face was covered with a handkerchief, walked in Sushil's class and asked him to come out. When Sushil went out with him, the other two dragged him out the college. One of the youths repeatedly stabbed him in his stomach and chest with a sharp knife till he collapsed. The trio fled the scene leaving Sushil in a pool of blood.
When Sushil didn't return to the class, his friends went out to look for him. They found him bleeding profusely and immediately informed their teachers and principal. He was rushed to Agarwal Hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Sushil reportedly died to excessive bleeding and multiple organ failure. His post-mortem report was awaited.
“We are in the process of recording the statements of witnesses to zero in on the motive,” Srinivas Panhale, senior inspector of Bhandup police, told Times of India. Cops are also checking the CCTV footage of the college to establish the culprit’s identity.
