Mumbai, July 19: A man allegedly set his ex-girlfriend's house in Andheri on fire, after the latter refused to speak to him. The Oshiwara Police have managed to arrest the accused, identified as Deepak Jain and he is booked for attempting murder, molestation and causing mischief by setting a fire, as reported in Times of India.  Mumbai Man Stabs Wife Over Having Extra-Marital Affair With Brother-in-Law, Kills Sister

The incident took place when the man in a drunken state went to her ex-girlfriend's house and asked her to resume the relationship. The girl refused and asked him to leave the house immediately. This agitated Jain, who took out his lighter and started setting fire to all the things in her house. The girl immediately dialled 100 and the police came and arrested the accused.

In a case reported on Thursday, a man stabbed his wife over suspicion of having an extra-marital affair with brother-in-law and then accidentally ended up killing his sister. In another shocking case reported early this year,  a man killed a married woman with whom he was having an affair after she refused to have sex with him.

There was another report which came to light today, where a woman had to be admitted to a hospital after she was set ablaze by her father-in-law and two brothers-in-law allegedly over a water dispute, in Badora village of Betul district.
