Mumbai, July 8: A fire broke out at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) on Sunday evening. According to initial reports, fire erupted at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus due to short circuit. There was no report of injury or damage at the time of filing this report. The fire erupted at near platform no 1 and 2 and has been doused, as per reports.

Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, managed by the Central Railway, is one of the railway terminals within Mumbai. LTT is located in middle of two suburban railway stations, Tilak Nagar and Kurla, on the Harbour Line. The fire didn't affect the local train services on the Harbour Line.

Earlier on July 3, a foot overbridge (FOB) crashed over the Western Railway (WR) tracks at Andheri following heavy rains. A portion of the Gokhale Bridge, running east-west over the Andheri station, suddenly came down trapping, disrupting local train services on the Western Line.
