Jammu, June 30: Nine out of the 10 Border Security Force (BSF) jawans, who went missing from a special train at Uttar Pradesh's (UP) Mughalsarai railway station on June 27 reported back to duty yesterday. The jawans were on their way to Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, departmental action will be taken against them.
On June 27, 10 BSF jawans suddenly disappeared when they were travelling to Jammu and Kashmir from West Bengal. They went missing between West Bengal’s Bardhman and Dhanbad in Bihar. The soldiers belong to 83rd battalion of BSF. They were travelling on a special train from Murshidabad to Jammu and Kashmir.
The commander of the battalion had even filed a complaint with Government Railway Police in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Nagar (Mughalsarai) railway station. One jawan has still not reported back to his battalion.
