The Election Commission will announce results for Meghalaya Assembly elections 2018 results today. The counting of the votes began at 8am and early trends have started pouring in. The Election Commission will declare the final results by 4 pm. Here is everything about the elections updates in the assembly seats of Khliehriat and Sutnga Saipung in East Jaintia Hills district.

Meghalaya has 18,30,104 voters, of which 9,23,848 are women. A total of 370 candidates are in the fray in the state. Meghalaya and Tripura went to polls on February 27 while Tripura votes for the assembly elections on February 18. Counting of votes of all the three states is being held today.
