Ahmedabad, October 15: An ex-husband caught staring at his previous wife proved him costly, as he was thrashed by the woman's current husband. According to a Times of India report, more than four people suffered injuries in the brawl. Haresh Lalwani, an autorickshaw driver has filed a complaint with the city police stating that he was beaten by the husband of his ex-wife. Lalwani, as quoted in the report, said, "On Saturday night, I was doing the garba at an event in front of my house where Manisha was also doing the garba. As I stared at her, her husband Ashok Durgesh Tejwani became furious and started abusing me without any reason.:

Tejwani hit Lalwani with a stick on his head and started to bleed profusely. Three other members of Lalwani suffered injuries. Vadaj Police have booked Tejwani and his father under charges of assault, abetment and for uttering abuses and criminal intimidation.
