New Delhi, July 21: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government passed the no-confidenc motion moved by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that "Bharatiya Janata Party has betrayed" the state yet again. More reactions are expected to come from politicians across the partyline. The Modi government defeated the no-confidence motion with an overwhelming majority with the government getting 325 out of a total 451 votes. Only 126 MPs voted in favour of the motion.
Earlier today, a batch of 1,632 pilgrims left Jammu to perform the Amarnath Yatra. The pilgrims left the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in two batches of 1,011 and 621. The first one headed to Pahalgam base camp and the other to the Baltal one in escorted convoys. A total of 2,24,340 pilgrims have performed the Yatra since it started on June 28.
Police authorities on Saturday seized Rs 2 crore from Mughalsarai railway station and arrested two people. Further investigation was underway. Various parts of Mumbai once again witnessed rainfall on Saturday. However, rain and road traffic was normal. Meanwhile, a shocking incident was reported from Madhya Pradesh's Sagar where a 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide on Friday after she was allegedly gang-raped by three men. All accused were arrested. Further investigation was underway.
