Thunderstorm and rains struck parts of Delhi-NCR, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and other cities of North India late on Monday. Here are the visuals from the national capital:

Shortly after the IMD's fresh warning on thunderstorm issued in 11 states, gutsy winds and rainfall struck parts of Rajasthan. According to news agency ANI, severe dust-storm was reported in Jhunjhunu and Sikar late on Monday, which led to the disruption of electricity.

Tripura's Khowai district on Monday was struck by a thunderstorm. At least one person was confirmed to be dead, whereas, nine others were rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said the relief operation has been initiated. Read full report.
