On The attempt by Congress-JD(S) to place judicial hurdles before BS Yeddyurappa's swearing-in has failed to yield results as the Supreme Court, post a midnight hearing, refused to stay the oath-taking ceremony of Yeddyurappa as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. On Wednesday, JD(S) Kumaraswamy accused BJP of poaching each of their MLA by offering Rs 100 crore and a cabinet berth. BJP dismissed the allegation and called it 'imaginary'.

BS Yeddyurappa will take oath as Karnataka chief minister at 9 am today.
The West Bengal Gram Panchayat Elections Results 2018 are to be declared today. The Election Commission of India (ECI) will has started the counting of votes. The state saw a voter turnout of 73 percent during the West Bengal Gram Panchayat Polls in 2018. Violence across the state marred the election on May 12, as a result of which, repolling in 19 out of 20 disctricts was ordered and it took place on May 16. According to exist poll by News 18, there will be a Green storm in Bengal. The Supreme Court on Thursday will resume hearing the Ayodhya-Babri Masjid land dispute case.
