Supreme Court to pronounce judgement in Navjot Singh Sidhu road rage case tomorrow. Mr Sidhu had allegedly hit a 65-year-old man, Gurnam Singh, on the head during an argument on a road in Patiala on 27 December 1988. Gurnam Singh died in hospital. A key point of Mr Sidhu's defence has been to question the conclusion that the death took place due to the assault.

Retaliating to the 'abetment to suicide', along with 'cruelty in marriage' charges levelled against him, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said the Delhi Police is framing him in the death case of Sunanda Pushkar for vested reasons.

"In October 2017, the Law Officer made a statement in the Delhi High Court that they have not found anything against anyone and now in 6 months they say that I have abetted a suicide. Unbelievable! (sic)," Tharoor said on Twitter.

Senior Congress leader and Thiruvananthapuram MP, Shashi Tharoor has been charged of 'abetting the suicide' of his wife Sunanda Pushkar. As per the chargesheet by the Delhi Police in Patiala House Court, Tharoor has been charged under IPC Sections 306 and 498-A. Read full report.
