Election Commission has deferred polling in Karnataka's Rajarajeshwari (RR) Nagar constituency. The decision comes following the seizure of over 9,716 fake voter ID cards from the assembly segment. On Thursday, the Supreme Court reserved its verdict in the batch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity of Aadhaar. The judgement was finalised by the five-judge bench after a marathon hearing which stretched for nearly three and a half months.The high-pitched electoral campaign in Karnataka came to an end on Thursday, with the State Election Commission (SCE) barring all political parties from reaching out to the voters for the next 48 hours.
