Five people died and twp are injured after a car rammed into a bus in Ernakulam's Perumbavoor at around 3 AM today.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday reprimanded the authorities for prohibiting the entry of women between the age group of 10-50 years in Kerala Sabarimala temple. The Court was hearing petitions on whether prohibiting women on the grounds of biological factors was discriminatory and violative of the Constitution.
Bodies of nine people were recovered on Wednesday from the debris of the two buildings that collapsed yesterday in Greater Noida’s Shah Beri village. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered compensation of Rs two lakh each for the next of kin of those dead. In addition to this, Rs 50,000 compensation has also been announced to those injured in the collapse in Shah Beri village. In a shocking incident, nine people of the same family were killed after a car caught fire following a collision with a truck in Gujarat’s Tankara town. A four-year-old girl was raped in Damoh district by an unidentified man, and after committing the crime, the man dumped the child on the road.
