Discussion on No confidence motion to take place on Friday in Lok Sabha and Monday in Rajya Sabha. On Wednesday, the no-confidence motion against government moved by Chandrababu Naidu's TDP in Lok Sabha was accepted. The Speaker said she will notify the date for discussion on no-confidence motion within a couple of days. Reports inform that this is the first time since 2003, that a no-confidence motion has been moved and accepted in Parliament.

Swami Agnivesh on Wednesday said that those arrested were allowed to walk free after few hours. "This seems to be a drama. Inquiry ordered by DIG also seems fake. I demand an inquiry by a retired or sitting judge of Ranchi HC. This was an attempt to murder, I could've been murdered. This was pre-planned", he said.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Wednesday took a dig at the ruling BJP over vandalism on his constituency office in Kerala.
