In of the biggest news of today, Chandrayaan 2, India's second landmark moon mission has been called off due to a technical snag. The lift-off was scheduled to be carried out from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 2.51 am on July 15. Just minutes before its launch, ISRO tweeted that the ambitious project has been called off for today and a revised launch date will be announced later.

Yogi Adityanath has suspended eight officers for showing negligence in maintaining cattle. Indian National Congress leader and Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned from Punjab cabinet after a feud with chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
